CHINA NEXT SUPERPOWER?

Hi guys, as all of you know the world is suffering from corona virus which started in February and since then has created a mess all around world and as you are reading this the world has recorded around 63 million cases and the numbers keeps on going up, but what about the world post covid? I mean what happens when this pandemic is over? Who will be the winners of post-pandemic economy? Well here is the result of speculation of a few countries:

1.U.S.A - -3.7%

2.CHINA - +1.8%

3.JAPAN - -5.3%

4.GERMANY - -5.5%

5.INDIA - -9.9%

6.UNITED KINGDOM – -11.2%

7.FRANCE - -9.1%

8.ITALY - -9.1%

9.BRAZIL - -6.0%

10. CANADA - -5.4%

These are the figures released by OECD for the GDP of 2020.

The OECD has revealed that China is set to enjoy a post-COVID economic recovery that outstrips every other major country, most of which will see debilitating drops in their GDP.

“A graph proposing GDP projections for various nations and areas showed that China was the only nation on the list to enjoy real GDP growth in 2020, with 1.8%, 8% in 2021 and 4.9% in 2022,” reports Sputnik.

Now China has not only been a winner of the post covid world but it is also seen to take over the financial world order which the U.S.A has been dominating since the end of the second world war but now that the covid-19 has shown that America is failing to sort out its own affairs at home, let alone provide global leadership under the Trump administration. China is vying to compete for greater control.

Now it is true that America is the king when it comes to global finance, controlling the worlds financial plumbing, accounts for ¼ of the world economy and the dollar is also the currency used for international trade but China wants to correct the imbalance and become the king in global finance and covid-19 has given China the opportunity to succeed which might tip the balance to their side in the long run. But now with Biden being the president of America will it be more easy or difficult for the Chinese will be depend on how America fights.
